October 22, 2018- A train collision took place in Corcoran, on Monday.  The Kings County vehicle crash occurred on Orange Avenue, at around 7:30 AM.

A 41-year-old man was driving his 2005 Chevy Malibu car eastbound in the area of Orange and Otis avenues.  As the driver crossed the train tracks after the railroad arms were down, the Chevrolet got stuck.

The rear-end of the automobile was hit by the Burlington Northern Santa Fe train engine.

The man in the Chevy suffered unknown injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.

No one on the train was hurt.
