Intoxicated Driver Causes Fatal Car Crash in Lemoore, on Highway 41

January 21, 2018- An infant was killed in a vehicle crash which happened in Lemoore, on Sunday.  The Kings County DUI car collision occurred on Highway 41, at about 1:15 AM.

Rodney Klamerus, 50, was driving a 2012 Hyundai, while under the influence.  The automobile was headed north on Highway 41, approaching Hanford Armona Road.


The Hyundai crashed into the back of a 2013 Nissan that attempted to turn from Hanford Armona Rd., onto the highway.

1-year-old Liliana Valencia, of Fresno, suffered fatal injuries.  She was taken to Adventist Medical Center, in Hanford, where she died a short time later.

Three occupants in the Nissan; Eduardo Arteaga, Saul Arteaga, and Deborah Duran also suffered injuries.  They were treated at the Hanford hospital.

Klamerus sustained major injuries and was transported by helicopter to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He will be charged with multiple felony charges.
