December 9, 2017- A bicyclist was killed in a hit-and-run accident in central Fresno, on Saturday. The drunk driving car collision took place on Weber Avenue, at about 3:10 AM.
Jame Raby, 58, was riding a bicycle northbound on Weber Ave. in the bike lane. Near Clinton AVenue a car, driven by Jose Hernandez, crashed into him from behind.
The vehicle then fled the scene. Hernandez was caught minutes later and arrested for hit-and-run, vehicular manslaughter, and DUI.
Raby was pronounced dead at the scene.
