November 15, 2017- A hit-and-run crash took place in west Fresno, on Wednesday. The automobile accident occurred on Shields Avenue, at approximately 6:50 PM.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the collision happened at the intersection of W. Shields and N. Hayes avenues. A silver Chrysler and a grey Volkswagen Beetle were involved.
The Chrysler was said to have run a stop sign at a high rate of speed when the crash occurred.
The suspect; A Hispanic male in his 20s and a 9-year-old boy, who was said to have been the suspect’s son, ran away on foot.
Injuries were reported.
