Teen Pedestrian Hurt in Accident on Bullard and Bond Avenues, in Fresno

On Tuesday, September 5, 2017, an 8th-grader is in critical condition after being hit by a car, in Fresno.  The pedestrian accident occurred on Bullard Avenue, at approximately 7:40 AM.

The Fresno police reported that an automobile was driving eastbound in the area of Bullard and Bond avenues.  At that time, a 14-year-old boy darted into the street, as he was on his way to Ahwahnee Middle School, and was struck by the vehicle.

The victim suffered severe injuries and was transported to a local hospital.

Issues still remaining to be investigated include determining the speed of the car, whether road conditions may have contributed to this accident, and whether the facts of this accident as reported are accurate.
