Fresno Hit-and-Run Automobile Collision Injures Pedestrians on Butler and Orange Avenues

On Friday, March 10, 2017, a hit-and-run car collision injured two people, in southeast Fresno.  The pedestrian accident took place at Orange and Butler avenues, during the evening hours.

An 18-year-old and a 9-year-old girl were walking in a marked crosswalk at the intersection of Butler and Orange.  As the pedestrians crossed the street, they were hit by a dark-colored Toyota or Scion vehicle.

The victims suffered injuries and were taken to a local hospital for treatment.  They are expected to recover.

Even though the driver may never be identified, the family of the victims may have a valid uninsured motorist claim under their own insurance policy.
