On Saturday, March 18, 2017, an automobile collision occurred south of Selma. The Fresno County car crash happened on Highway 43 and Kamm Avenue.
A 57-year-old man, from Lemoore, was driving a 2001 Nissan west on Kamm Avenue.
At the intersection of State Route 43, the driver failed to stop at the posted sign and drove into the path of a 2014 Hyundai. The Hyundai had been traveling north on the highway at approximately 50 miles per hour.
The Nissan’s driver suffered serious injuries. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Two adults and two kids in the other vehicle sustained minor to moderate injuries. They were also taken to the Fresno hospital.
