On Saturday, December 10, 2016, a 3-car collision ended in serious injuries, near Porterville. The Tulare County multi-vehicle crash occurred on Highway 190, at approximately 7:00 AM.
Jesus Diaz Santoyo, 34, was driving a 1997 Chevy Silverado truck eastbound on State Route 190, near Road 168.

The truck was then pushed into the path of a 2000 Honda CRV, that was headed west on the highway. The Chevy collided with the automobile.
Santoyo suffered severe injuries. He was transported to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.
