Tanker Truck Collision Spills Fuel All Over Highway 58, in Kern County

Kern County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident update; On Sunday, October 30, 2016, a tanker truck collision occurred east of Bakersfield.  The big rig crash happened on Highway 58, at approximately 11:15 PM.

The CHP reported that the incident took place on eastbound State Route 58, between Tower Line Road and Highway 223.

The tractor-trailer hauling 8,700 gallons of gasoline, driven by William Perry Abney Jr., a 2016 Mustang, and a Kia Sportage, were involved in the accident.

The semi was said to have drifted off the east side of the highway, went up an embankment, and the overturned.

Fuel in the tanker spilled all over the roadway.  And the truck soon caught fire.

Abney, who is from Fresno, suffered minor injuries.
