Double Fatality in SUV Crash at Del Rey and Central Avenues, in Fresno County

Fresno and Tulare County Car Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the following update; The victims in a rollover SUV crash that occurred on Wednesday, November 9, 2016, have been identified.  The fatal collision happened north of Del Rey, on Central Avenue, at around 3:45 PM.

A Dinuba woman was driving a Ford Sport Utility Vehicle northbound on Del Rey Avenue.  At that time a white automobile was headed east on Central Avenue.

At the intersection of Del Rey and Central, the sedan crashed into the SUV, causing the vehicle to rollover into an orchard.  The SUV then burst into flames.

The car also ended up in the orchard at the side of the roadway.

Sandra Duenas De Villeda, 43, and Brenda Rodriguez, 30, both of Reedley, were pronounced dead at the scene.  One of the women was the driver of the auto, and the other was a passenger in the SUV.

The SUV’s driver suffered severe injuries.  She was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, for treatment.
