Fresno County Pedestrian Collision Ends Fatally on Highway 33, in Firebaugh

On Monday, October 17, 2016, a pedestrian was killed in an automobile collision, in Firebaugh.  The Fresno County car accident took place on Highway 33 and 13th Street, at about 6:30 AM.

Francisco Guzman, 54, was crossing the street at the intersection of State Route 33 and 13th Street.


At that time a 1999 Toyota Corolla, driven by J. Guadalupe Gasca, of Mendota, was traveling northbound on the highway.

At the intersection the car hit the pedestrian, but the driver didn’t see the victim, just felt the impact after it happened.

Guzman was pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.
