October 1, 2016- An automobile accident ended in fatality for one man on Saturday, in Hanford. The Kings County traffic collision happened on State Route 198, east of 14th Avenue, at about 1:57 AM.
A 1999 Honda, was traveling east on Highway 198, near 14th Avenue, when a Mercedes-Benz came up behind it.
The Mercedes, driven by Brandon Moon, 27, was driving at an unknown rate of speed when it crashed into the back of the Honda.
The Honda spun out and came to rest in the middle of the eastbound lanes of the freeway. While Moon’s car swerved off the roadway and rolled over. The driver was not wearing a seat belt and was ejected from the Mercedes.
Moon was pronounced dead at the scene.
The driver of the Honda suffered serious injuries and was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
