Fresno, Visalia, Bakersfield Collision Attorney John L. Rozier has the following report; On Friday, September 23, 2016, a head-on big rig accident killed four victims, near Terra Bella. The Tulare County vehicle crash took place on State Route 65, at approximately 4:30 PM.
Four men, from Bakersfield, ages 21, 27, 28, and 40, were driving in a 2005 Chevy on Highway 65. The Chevrolet was traveling south on the highway when it pulled into the northbound lane, south of Avenue 32, to pass another car.
The automobile ran right into the path of a semi truck, driven by Gerald Ball, 59, of Anaheim. The two vehicles collided head-on.
Three of the occupants in the Chevy were pronounced dead at the scene. The 27-year-old driver was airlifted to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia, where he died.
Ball suffered minor injuries.
