Highway 99 Traffic Collision Kills Two People near Livingston, in Merced County

September 7, 2016- A car accident ended in fatality for two victims on Wednesday, near Livingston.  The Merced County auto collision took place on Highway 99, north of Fresno, at about 5:00 PM.

Windly Soza, 41, of Atwater, was driving a black Lexus, with her son Adrian, 12, headed northbound on State Route 99.  For an unknown reason, the vehicle swerved across the center divide of the freeway into the southbound lanes, between the Westside Boulevard and Sultana Drive.

The Lexus collided with a white Dodge Ram truck that was driving south on the highway.  The pickup truck, which was driven by Michael Farmen of Fresno, hit the passenger side of the car.  The Dodge, upon collision, overturned.

Soza and her son died at the scene.

Farmen sustained minor injuries.

Our condolences go out to the victims’ family and friends.  Investigation is needed to determined whether the vehicle malfunctioned, or whether road conditions may have contributed to the accident. Please give Attorney John Rozier a call at 559-713-0159, or reach our firm online.
