Hit-and-Run Pedestrian Accident on Flower Street, in Bakersfield

San Joaquin Valley Automobile Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the subsequent update; On Thursday, August 11, 2016, a pedestrian was critically hurt, in a hit-and-run collision in Bakersfield.  The Kern County car crash happened on Flower Street, at around 9:00 PM.

A 60-year-old female pedestrian was walking in the area of Flower Street.  At the 1700 block of Flower, the woman was struck by a vehicle.  The vehicle then fled the scene.

A little bit later a 16-year-old male teenager returned to the site of the crash and admitted that he was the driver.

The pedestrian suffered severe injuries and was taken to Kern Medical Center for treatment.

The Law Firm of Nelson and Rozier is currently handling a similar case arising from August 23, 2013, when a Fresno police car ran over a man on a bicycle named Angel Toscano.

In that case, we were able to download the event data recorder from the police cruiser to determine pre-accident speed and acceleration of the car.
