Two Children Injured in Pedestrian Accident on Willow Avenue, in Clovis

Tulare County Personal Injury Lawyer John Rozier has the following collision report; On Wednesday, July 20, 2016, two children were hurt in a pedestrian accident, in Clovis.  The Fresno County pickup truck crash took place on Willow Avenue, at about 10 PM.

Destiny Molijar, 13, of San Diego, was pushing a stroller with 2-year-old Kaiden Lopez in it.  They were walking with other family members along Holland Avenue.

The pedestrians crossed Willow Avenue, at Holland, just south of Gettysburg Avenue.

A pickup truck, traveling at speeds of 50-60 miles per hour, approached the intersection and struck Molijar and the little boy in the stroller.  The truck then tried to flee the scene, but witnesses prevented the driver from leaving.

Molijar suffered severe injuries.  She was taken to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.  She is listed as still in critical condition.

Lopez sustained injuries as well.  He was treated at CRMC and has now been released.
