July 9, 2016- A multiple vehicle crash ended in fatality, on Saturday, in Fresno County. The car collision happened at Central and Temperance avenues, north of Fowler, at about 5:49 PM.
Amalia Hunter, of Fresno, was driving with passenger Dolores Alaniz, 77, in a 2013 Nissan. The Nissan was northbound on Temperance Avenue, and had stopped at a posted sign, at the intersection of Central Avenue.
Jose Soto was also stopped in his 2004 Toyota, at the intersection driving south on Temperance.
Hunter drove into the intersection, reportedly not seeing a westbound 1995 Chevy, driven by Jesus Puentes, of Fresno.
The Chevrolet struck the passenger side of the Nissan, and caused it to spin out and collide with the Toyota.
Alaniz suffered fatal injuries and died at a local hospital.
Hunter sustained minor injuries.
Puentes and Soto were not hurt in the incident.
