July 3, 2016- A head-on automobile crash left several people, including a 6-year-old hurt, on Sunday, in Fresno County. The car accident happened near Caruthers, on Elm and Nebraska avenues.
The CHP reported that one car was traveling at a high-rate of speed down Nebraska Avenue. The vehicle failed to stop at a marked stop sign, and smashed head-on into another car that had been driving on Elm Avenue.

Authorities said that several occupants in the vehicles were not wearing seat belts at the time of the collision. Some of the victims were ejected from their cars.
Two people were airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno. While several others were transported by ambulance to CRMC. All were reported to have suffered major injuries.
