May 30, 2016- An SUV collision ended fatally near Hanford, on Monday. The Kings County single-vehicle accident happened at 7th and Houston avenues, at about 6 PM.
The 27 year old female driver of a Lincoln Navigator was traveling near Hanford, in the area of Houston and 7th. At the intersection the Sport Utility Vehicle failed to stop at the posted sign.
The Lincoln spun out of control, hit a palm tree head-on, and then burst into flames.
The driver suffered fatal injuries and was pronounced dead after being taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.
Two passengers in the SUV; a 19 year old and an 8 year old, sustained minor injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
