Truck Collision Ends in Fatality for Bicyclist, in Visalia, on Santa Fe Street

Attorney John Rozier, Car Accident and Wrongful Death Attorney, has the following report; On Monday, April 4, 2016, a pickup truck crash killed a bike rider, in Visalia.  The vehicle collision took place on Santa Fe Street, at approximately 9 AM.

A 1997 Dodge truck hauling a trailer, driven by 91 year old John Havekost, was traveling down Santa Fe Street.  Just north of Monte Vista Avenue, the pickup hit Robert Seymour, 92, who was riding his bicycle on the side of the roadway.

Seymour sustained severe injuries.  He was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center where he died.

Havekost was unharmed.
