April 12, 2016- A pedestrian versus automobile accident led to major injuries, in Fresno, on Tuesday. The car collision took place on Olive Avenue, at approximately 12:00 PM.
Authorities reported that a blue Toyota Corolla, driven by a woman in her 60s, was headed west on Olive Avenue. As the Toyota approached First Street, the vehicle hit a 57 year old man.
Reports claim that the pedestrian walked in front of the Corolla. He was knocked off his feet and hit the windshield.
The man suffered severe injuries. He was transported to Community Regional Medical Center for treatment.
Police report that the driver of the Toyota is not at fault in the incident.
