Child and Adult Killed in Vehicle Accident, in Tulare County, on Avenue 200

March 26, 2016- A drunk driving collision killed two victims and injured others, in Tulare County, on Saturday.  The SUV crash happened, east of Tulare, at the intersection of Spacer Drive and Avenue 200, at about 10 PM.

A 2013 Ford Edge, driven by Cheyenne Wyllie of Exeter, was traveling west on Avenue 200.  At the intersection of Spacer Avenue, the SUV failed to stop at the stop sign, and smashed into a 2012 Honda Pilot, driven by George Espinosa Jr., of Las Vegas.


The Honda had been driving southbound on Spacer Drive, when the Sport Utility Vehicle hit it.

Jamie Espinosa, 10, an occupant in the Pilot, sustained fatal injuries.  She was taken to Tulare Regional Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.

Angelita Espinosa, another occupant in the Honda, and the child’s grandmother, died at the scene.

George Espinosa, the child’s father, suffered severe injuries.  He was medi-flighted to Kaweah Delta Medical, and then on to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.

Charlotte Espinosa, the mother of the child, sustained minor to moderate injuries.  She was transported to Tulare Regional Medical, and has since been released.

Wyllie was also hurt and taken to a local hospital.  She has now been arrested for DUI and vehicular manslaughter.
