One Killed in Fog-Related Semi Truck Accident in Tulare County, on Paige Avenue, and Road 44

On Thursday, January 28, 2016, a medical transport van collision ended in fatality, west of Tulare.  The fog-related dairy truck crash took place on Ave. 216 and Road 44, at around 9:30 in the morning.

A milk tanker was driving east on Avenue 216, in Tulare County.  At the intersection of Paige Avenue and Road 44, a medical transport van which was westbound, carrying four people, attempted to turn left.

The van and semi crashed into each other.

A female victim in the transport van died at the scene of the collision.  And the three other occupants were taken to Tulare Regional Medical Center, for treatment of minor to moderate injuries.

Authorities reported that at the time of the crash there was dense fog in the area.
