Foggy Weather Causes Semi Truck Accident near Tulare, on Avenue 216, Killing One

Attorney John Rozier, Car Accident and Wrongful Death Attorney, has the following report; On Thursday, January 28, 2016, a fog-related collision, that ended in the death of one victim, occurred in Tulare County.  The tanker truck crash happened west of Tulare, on Paige Avenue, at approximately 9:30 AM.

A milk tanker was eastbound on Avenue 216/Paige Avenue.  At the same time a medical transport van was driving west on Ave 216.

The van, which had four occupants inside, tried to make a left-hand turn at the intersection of Road 44.  Dense fog was in the area at the time, making visibility low.

The van and big rig collided at the intersection.

A female occupant in the transport van was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident.  The three other people sustained minor to moderate injuries.  They were taken to Tulare Regional hospital, for treatment.

The milk tanker truck driver was not harmed.
