On Sunday, January 10, 2016, a teenager was hurt when the bicycle he was riding was hit, in an auto collision, in Visalia.  The Tulare County vehicle crash took place on Noble Avenue and Mooney Boulevard, at about 1:30 PM.

A red Toyota Camry, driven by Naomi Figueroa, 32, was headed east on Noble Avenue.  At that time a 2003 Mercedes sedan, driven by Ramiro Reyna, 61, was traveling south on Mooney Blvd.

The two automobiles collided, and the impact sent the Toyota across the intersection, where it hit a 15 year old boy on his bicycle.  The teen was on the southeast corner of the intersection when he was struck.

The boy suffered severe injuries.  He was taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia, for treatment.

The incident is now under investigation.
