Fiery Multi-Truck Crash Kills Two People in Fresno County, near Selma, on Academy Avenue

December 14, 2015- A pickup truck crash ended in a double fatality, on Monday, east of Selma.  The Fresno County 3-vehicle accident took place on Academy and Rose avenues, at about 1:30 PM.

A white Ford F-250 was traveling southbound on Academy Avenue, when it failed to stop at the intersection of Rose Avenue.  The pickup truck smashed into a red Ford F-150 that was headed east on Rose.  The white Ford then hit a silver Chevy Traverse SUV, that was stopped north on Academy.

The red Ford truck rolled over and then burst into flames.

Two men in their 30’s, who were occupants in the red Ford, were killed in the incident.

The driver of the white pickup truck suffered major injuries and was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.  He was arrested on suspicion of DUI.

The 22 year old driver of the Chevrolet SUV sustained minor injuries.
