October 26, 2015- Two teenaged girls were hurt in a vehicle accident on Monday, in Porterville. The Tulare County truck collision took place at Main Street and North Grand Avenue, at approximately 5:47 PM.
One of the girls was driving a 2004 Nissan Altima on North Grand Avenue. The car turned onto Main Street, right into the path of a 1985 Chevy pickup truck, driven by Jonathan Bradley, 29.
California Highway Patrol reported that the Chevrolet had been going at 50 mph when it crashed into the left side of the Nissan.
The two teens in the automobile, who were both from Strathmore, were injured.
The driver suffered severe injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno. The passenger sustained moderate injuries and was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center, in Visalia.
Bradley was not hurt in the accident.
