October 5, 2015- A motorcycle rider in a fatal big rig crash on Monday, has been identified. The semi truck accident took place west of the Lemoore Naval Air Station, on Highway 198 at 1:20 PM.
Jessie Lee Gallagher, a 20 year old naval officer at NAS Lemoore, was riding his motorcycle east on State Route 198. A Peterbuilt tractor-trailer entered the highway from Jameson Avenue, and the biker, who was from Idaho, ran into the back of the vehicle.
Gallagher was thrown from the motorcycle. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
While our condolences go out to the friends and family of the victim, we recognize that no monetary sum can ease the pain and loss felt after a tragedy such as this. However, just monetary compensation can help ease the burden of medical bills, final expenses, and help support any dependents left behind by the deceased.
