October 17, 2015- A pedestrian collision killed one Exeter man, in Visalia, on Saturday. The Tulare County hit-and-run vehicle accident happened on Mineral King Avenue, at around 9 PM.
A pedestrian; Charles Stephens, 57 years old, was walking in the roadway, at the intersection of Mineral King Avenue and Oakhurst Street.
At that time a dark colored pickup truck, was traveling westbound on Mineral King, and hit Stephens. The pickup then drove off without stopping.
The Exeter man sustained major injuries and was taken by ambulance to Kaweah Delta Medical Center. He died from his wounds in the hospital, on Monday October 19th.
The suspect in the crash has still not been found.
