Auto Collision on Union Avenue Kills Pedestrian, in Bakersfield

Kern County Personal Injury and Wrongful Death Lawyer John Rozier has the following accident report; On Saturday, October 24, 2015, a pedestrian was hit and killed in a car collision in Bakersfield.  The vehicle crash occurred on Union Avenue, at around 7:49 PM.

A female pedestrian, Linda Marie Lewis, 54, was walking west, across the northbound lanes of Union Avenue.  An automobile traveling north struck her as the woman crossed the road.

The incident happened on th 3500 block of Union Ave.

Lewis suffered serious injuries, and was taken to Kern Medical Center, in Bakersfield.  She later died while in the hospital.

The Law Firm of Nelson and Rozier is currently handling a similar case arising from 8/23/13, when a Fresno police car hit a man on a bicycle named Angel Toscano.  In that case we were able to download the event data recorder from the police cruiser to determine pre-accident speed and acceleration of the car.
