October 22, 2015- A multi-vehicle accident occurred in Visalia, on Thursday. The 4-car collision happened on westbound Highway 198, in Tulare County, at about 12:30 PM.
The CHP reported that the cause of the crash was attributed to CalTrans workers that were on the side of the Highway 198 freeway, trimming the vegetation.
Vehicle that were involved in the incident, that took place just east of the Downtown Visalia exit, were a semi truck, a silver automobile, a Chevy pickup truck, and a panel truck.
The box truck driver suffered moderate injuries. He was taken to Kaweah Delta Medical Center for treatment.
No other injuries have been reported at this time.
