Multi-Vehicle Crash on Highway 99, near Visalia, Kills Two People

Visalia Wrongful Death Attorney John Rozier has the subsequent collision report; On Tuesday, September 15, 2015, a multi-vehicle crash killed two people.  The Tulare County semi truck accident took place on Highway 99, north of Betty Drive, at about 5:50 AM.

The CHP reported that a total of 4 vehicle were involved in southbound Highway 99 collision.  A big rig, a box truck, a white Toyota Sienna minivan, and a Chevy Tahoe pickup truck.

The accident is being blamed on the big rig driver’s inattention to stopped traffic in front of him.

The semi first hit the Toyota, then continued to move forward and hit the other two vehicles, before coming to a stop.

The tractor-trailer and the Chevrolet caught fire, and another one of the vehicles overturned.

The driver of the pickup truck; a Parlier woman, 39, and an 18 year old Fresno man, who was in the van, died at the scene.

Three others in the van suffered moderate injuries.

The box truck driver, and the big rig driver were not hurt.
