September 28, 2015- A semi and SUV crash ends in fatality for three people, near Wasco, on Monday.  The big rig accident happened on Highway 46, just west of Highway 99, at around 6:20 AM.  The three women killed have been identified.

An SUV, with 7 female occupants from Taft, was headed down Highway 46, near Famoso Road.  The Sport Utility Vehicle made a u-turn directly into the path of a tractor-trailer that was traveling at 55 mph.  The two vehicles collided.

Two of the women in the SUV died at the scene.  A third female was airlifted to Kern Medical Center, where she died as well.

The other four women suffered minor injuries.

The three victims have been identified as; Zenaida Quintero-Reyes, 44, Maria Elizabeth Caballero, 43, and Sylvia Carrillo-Ramirez, 53.
