May 14, 2014- A car collided into a home and burst into flames, in Merced, on Wednesday.  The automobile collision happened at about 11 AM.

A 2012 Nissan Altima was driving north on Alexander Avenue, when it somehow left the roadway, hit several garbage cans, then went through the intersection with Rambler Road, and smashed into the side of a home.  The car sheared off a gas meter and hit the house’s electrical panel, which emergency officials reported, started the fire.
