December 8, 2011- A hit-and-run crash injures a pedestrian in Bakersfield, on Thursday, at about 8 PM.
The accident happened at White Lane, near Highway 99. 36 year-old Melanie Parker was crossing White Lane, when a white Toyota truck struck her and then fled the scene.
Parker suffered major injuries, but it is reported that she is recovering.
Police are trying to apprehend the suspect.
