January 15, 2010–According to The Fresno Bee, several fog related traffic accidents occurred yesterday morning in and around Fresno. A major injury accident at Highway 145 and Shaw Avenue was reported by the CHP. Visibility was limited to 600 feet. A motorcycle was struck by a vehicle leaving the motorcycle rider with major injuries treated at Fresno Regional Community Medical Center.
Elsewhere, a crash involving a big rig and at least one other vehicle took place at Road 9 and Highway 152 northwest of Madera.
