Head-on Automobile Collision on Highway 41, in Madera County

January 4, 2015- A head-on car accident was caused by drunk driving, on Highway 41, on Sunday.  The DUI vehicle collision took place in Madera County, at approximately 8 PM.California Highway Patrol said the driver of a blue Dodge pickup truck was southbound on Highway 41, when it swerved into the opposite lanes of traffic, near Avenue 12.The Dodge truck ran into a white sedan, driven by a female driver from Coarsegold, which sent the car crashing into the guardrail.  The pickup then overturned.

Both drivers were trapped in their vehicles, until emergency personnel could extricate them.  They sustained minor injuries and were taken to Community Regional Medical Center, in Fresno.Officers determined that the driver of the truck was driving while under the influence of alcohol.  His Dodge was registered in Nevada.

Madera County Car Collision Caused by Drunk Driver on Highway 41

San Joaquin Valley Automobile Accident Lawyer John Rozier has the following update; On Sunday, January 4, 2015, a drunk driver caused a car accident in Madera County.  The vehicle collision occurred on Highway 41, near Avenue 12, at about 8 PM.

The CHP have reported that a driver of a pickup truck was traveling southbound on Highway 41.  The truck swerved into the northbound lanes, and smashed head-on into a white automobile.

The impact of the crash caused the sedan to lose control and hit the guard rail.  Both drivers were said to have been trapped inside their vehicles.

Update: Fatality in Vehicle Collision on Avenue 12 in Madera County

April 22, 2014- The Fresno man who was killed on Tuesday, in Madera County has been identified.  The accident took place on Avenue 12, west of Highway 41, at about 6:50 AM.The victim has been identified as 22 or 23 year old, Cole Alexander Peveto.  The pickup truck he was driving in was traveling at a high rate of speed when it veered off the road and rolled before coming to a stop on its roof.Peveto died at the scene of the collision.

Fatality in Vehicle Collision on Avenue 12 in Madera County

April 22, 2014- A man was killed in Madera County, in a vehicle accident, on Tuesday morning.  The collision happened at about 6:50 AM, on Avenue 12.It is reported that the Fresno driver, 23 years old, was traveling in his pickup truck at a high rate of speed, down Avenue 12, west of Highway 41.  He lost control of his truck and it veered off the roadway.  The pickup then rolled a few times, and came to rest on its roof.The man was fatally wounded and pronounced dead at the scene of the crash.

Big Rig Hits Parked Cars After Driver Has Heart Attack

December 9, 2011- A man driving a semi truck hit five parked vehicles after having a heart attack, on Friday, near Madera, north of Fresno. The crash occurred at about 10:30 PM.Jimmy Brewer of Madera, was towing two double trailers behind his rig at about 10 mph, on the private property at Road 27 1/2, south of Avenue 12. He went into cardiac arrest and slumped over the steering wheel.The big rig slammed into five parked, vehicles, that were unoccupied, and stopped against one of the cars.A co-worker was the one to find Brewer in his semi truck, unconscious. Brewer was taken to Madera Community Hospital. It is reported that he was in critical, but stable

May 14 fatal train accident in Madera County

On May 14 R.D. Martin was killed in a train accident in Madera County. The accident happened on Avenue 12 near Road 32. Reportedly Martin's Ford Taurus some how came to rest on the tracks as the train approached. It is unclear whether it went through or around the rail road gates. Martin attempted to get out of the vehicle before his car was tragically hit by the engine.

Victoria Brown injured in double fatality
