Foggy weather contributed to multiple car collisions in Kings County, on Tuesday, January 31, 2017. The traffic accidents involved more that 50 vehicles, on Highway 198, west of Hanford, at about 9 AM.
The California Highway Patrol reported that the incidents started on westbound State Route 198, near 13th Avenue. The original crash caused a chain reaction of other accidents behind it.
At least 10 people were injured from the incidents.
Low visibility was said to have been part of the cause of the collisions.
