October 12, 2016- A drunk driving accident took place in Bakersfield on Wednesday, injuring multiple people. The Kern County truck collision happened on Alfred Harrell Highway, near the California Living Museum, at about 4 PM.
A white Mazda sedan, driven by Roger Davison, was driving while intoxicated on Alfred Harrell Highway. Reports claim that he was driving erratically and attempted to may an illegal U-turn.
As the car turned around it drove in front of a Ford pickup truck. The truck and automobile collided.
Davison and four passengers in the Mazda, which included three children, suffered moderate to major injuries.
The driver and passenger of the pickup sustained minor injuries.
All victims were taken to a local hospital for treatment.
Davison was arrested for driving under the influence and child endangerment.
