Merced County Car Crash Ends in Double Fatality on Highway 99, near Livingston

On Wednesday, September 7, 2016, two people, including a child, were killed in a vehicle crash in Merced County.  The car collision happened near Livingston, on Highway 99, at around 5:00 PM.

A black Lexus, driven by Windly Soza, of Atwater, was traveling northbound on the Highway 99 freeway.  Between Westside Boulevard and Sultana Drive, the automobile drove across the median into the southbound lanes.

A white Dodge Ram pickup, driven by Michael Farmen of Fresno, was headed south on Hwy 99.  The truck crashed into the Lexus, then it rolled over.

Soza and her 12-year-old son Adrian, who was a passenger in the car, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Farmen suffered minor injuries.
