On Thursday, September 15, 2016, a five-vehicle crash occurred in southwest Bakersfield. The Kern County multi-car collision happened on Panama Lane, at about 7:30 AM.
The police reported that a vehicle did not stop at the sign, at the intersection of Panama Lane and Old River Road. Because the car ran the stop sign, it led to a chain-reaction crash, involving five vehicles.
