On Saturday, April 30, 2016, two teenagers were killed in a car accident in Fresno County. The automobile crash happened southwest of Fresno, at Lincoln Avenue and Henderson Road.
A Pontiac sedan, carrying Merrick Asher, 17, Mason Asher, 15, and two other people, was headed down Henderson Road. At the intersection of West Lincoln Avenue, the car failed to stop at a posted stop sign.
The Pontiac drove right in front of a Chevy pickup truck, that was carrying a family of three. The two vehicles collided.
Merrick and Mason Asher both died at the scene. The other two passengers in the sedan suffered injuries and were taken to the hospital.
A little boy in the Chevrolet was also hurt and transported to the hospital for treatment.
