Hanford Automobile Crash Ends in Fatality For Teenager, on 9 1/4 Avenue, in Kings County

On Thursday, September 3, 2015, a car crash ended in fatality for a 13 year old boy, in Kings County. The vehicle collision happened in Hanford, on 9 1/4 Avenue, at approximately 3:30 AM.

Jimmie Lee Love III, 20, was traveling north at a high rate of speed, in a 2006 Toyota Camry, on 9 1/4 Avenue, near Lacey Boulevard. In the automobile were passengers; Javier Hernandez, 13 year old Adam Aviles, and a 15 year old boy.

Love lost control of the automobile and the vehicle swerved off the east side of the road. The Camry smashed into a power pole and rolled several times, before coming to rest in a field.

Aviles suffered fatal injuries and was airlifted to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead.

The 15 year old teen was also taken by helicopter to CRMC in Fresno, having sustained major injuries. Hernandez received minor injuries and was taken to Adventist Medical Center for treatment.

After the crash Love fled the scene. He was later apprehended Thursday afternoon. He was arrested for hit and run, vehicular manslaughter, and other charges.
